Giant cupcakes are more fun!

| I really like these. Nonstick, so they wash up easily. I haven't found papers for these yet so I just use a little oil and they come out clean. If you use a recipe for 24 muffins or cupcakes, it will make about 12 of these giant ones (just bake a little longer). These are about 1/3 of the price I've seen in kitchen stores, and they are of good quality. |

The Big Size you need

These muffin pans are excellent. Be sure to buy two at once or you will have to reorder like I did.
They are perfect for nice-sized muffins (and cupcakes).
Plus, the real reason I bought mine was for making homemade rolls. Even if you just use frozen bread dough, you will get nice big fluffy rolls because the muffin tins are large enough to allow better rising than ordinary muffin tins. |

Our new range has one big oven and one small convection oven, so my old muffin pan that holds 12 small muffins doesn't fit in the small oven. I had to look for a smaller pan, and I found this. This TX size muffin pan's price is so good I bought three, so I can make double batches of large muffins (a 12 small muffin/cup cake recipe makes about 8 TX size ones). I used Alton Brown's (from Food Network's Good Eats) blueberry muffin recipe and it was awesome. The muffins are so light and moist. As AB specified in the recipe I used no paper cups (just grease the pan lightly) and the bottom of the muffins brown nicely, and they don't stick.
Now I longer need to pay close to $2 at Starbucks for a blueberry muffin. |
